Entertainment
There is a local disco situated just behind the rivedr next to the Tourist Information Centre. It is open until about 3 am most nights of the week. Another late nightspot with live music is the club downstairs behind the Spteema cafe on the high Street. There are many excellent restaraunts and bars in this area.
If you enjoy the nightlife you can visit Pamporovo 5 miles away. There are many pubs to cater all needs. These include Irish Bars, Traditional bulgarian style tavernas and plenty of discos
Attractions
Near Chepelare there is the National Astronomical Observatory 'Rozhen' located 10 Km towards Smolyan. It is the largest site south East europe and well worth a visit. Hiking, horse riding and mountain biking is all available on numerous marked tracks. Many natural phenomenons are worth seeing including the 3 ridges of wonder. Skiing
After many years of use the old ski lift has now been replaced with a new faster and safer 4 seat system. The pistes offer beautiful scenary with tree lined slopes
